A Tour of Yasu's Historical Spots

~Hiking Tour of Yasu~

View the beautiful nature of Yasu in autumn while hiking through the route through Mt Mikami. The route will begin from Mikami Shrine, up to the peak of Mt Myokoji, before finally reaching the magaibutsu, the ancient statue of Buddha carved into the rockface of the moutain itself. Experience the incredible nature and history of Yasu, with explanations given in English and simple Japanese.

Route : An approximately 8km-course around Mt Mikami

13:30 Return via Nakasendo

14:00 Arrive at Yasu City Hall

Important info: Please bring a light snack such as onigiri for lunch, a drink, and a mat to use for the break time. Please wear attire appropriate for climbing, and shoes with reasonable grip. Please wear a mask at times when talking, such as the break time.
